  • THE ROLE:

    We are looking for an enthusiastic mountain bike coach to help deliver fun, safe and confidence-building coaching sessions for children aged 6–13.

    LOCATION:

    Amersham & surrounding area

    HOURLY RATE:

    £25 per hour

    You’ll need:

    •  Strong mountain biking skills

    • A positive and encouraging coaching style

    • Experience working with children

    • Relevant coaching qualifications e.g. MIAS Level 2

    • DBS check and safeguarding awareness

    Sessions are primarily weekends and optional school holidays in and around Amersham.

    You’ll also need to be able to get yourself - and your bike! - to our session locations independently.

    If you are passionate about getting kids outdoors, developing skills and building confidence on bikes, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Muddy MTB is looking for friendly and reliable assistant coaches to support our children’s mountain bike sessions in and around Amersham.

    This role is ideal for:

    • Riders wanting to gain coaching experience

    • Young adults interested in outdoor activity leadership

    • Existing coaches looking for additional weekend work

     You’ll help with:

    • Group management

    • Encouraging young riders

    • Setting up activities and games

    • Supporting safe riding during sessions

    A love of biking, energy and a positive attitude are essential. You’ll also need to be able to get yourself - and your bike! - to our session locations independently. Training and mentoring can be provided.

    HOURLY RATE:

    £16 per hour

  • Looking for a fun and active Duke of Edinburgh volunteering placement?

    Muddy MTB is seeking enthusiastic young volunteers to help support children’s mountain bike coaching sessions.

     You could help with:

    •  Encouraging younger riders

    • Assisting with games and activities

    • Setting up equipment

    • Supporting coaches during sessions

     This is a great opportunity to build confidence, leadership and communication skills while spending time outdoors and being part of a supportive team.
